Call Forwarding
Call forwarding is activated by picking up your phone and dialing *72.
After you dial *72, you'll hear a different tone indicating it's ready for you to dial the phone number to forward your calls to. Dial the number to forward your calls to and then #.
For example, if your cell phone were 305-555-1111, you would pick up your first line and dial: *72 305 555 1111#. You can dial 7 digits (555-1111) or 10 digits (305-555-1111), either will work. If you dial 7 digits our system will assume you meant area code 305.
Now every time you pick up that first line you'll hear the dial tone stutter as a reminder that you have call forwarding enabled.
To disable call forwarding, pick up your phone and dial *73. You'll know your phone is no longer forwarded when your dialtone becomes steady with no stuttering Voice Greeting
To access your voicemail preferences and record your greeting, pick up your phone and dial *98. Enter the voicemail password you received with installation.
Once at the voicemail system's main menu, press 0 for mailbox options. Then press 4 to record your "temporary greeting". Once you make it to this menu, follow the prompts to record/review/save your greeting.
