Miva Merchant is a browser-based Storefront Development and Management System that integrates cataloging, product, fulfillment, maintenance, category management, shopping basket, order and credit card processing.

The software is organized as a series of modules that can be field upgraded to provide new functionality without changes to the core system. E-merchants can use the browser-based interface to build stores and developers can build modules in XML-based Miva Script. Merchants manage their stores with a user-friendly browser-based interface. Step One: Web Site Brochure
Creates an image of your business and includes your company name and location, contact information, mission statement, logo and custom artwork, graphic representations of your product and/or services, a description of your products and/or services, an explanation of filfillment, and user-friendly navigation

Step Two: Web Site Store Front
Your catalog display window, it works in the same way as a well-designed display window, drawing patrons into a retail store from the sidewalk. The storefront includes your store identity and provides an opportunity to display special offers or drive traffic to a particular area of the store. It also provides a link to allow for the viewing of full-size images, and an opportunity to buy immediately.

Step Three: Catalog Page Format
The catalog pages display multiple products in a format designed for quick download and allows the customer to view a number of products at the same time. It includes utilization of thumbnail images to facilitate quick load time while allowing the customer to view multiple products at the same time. It also provides a link to allow for viewing of full-size images and an opportunity to buy immediately.
