These instructions will show you how to get Outlook Express to stop bringing up a specific dialup networking connection.

First, pull down the Tools menu and choose Accounts

Make sure your mail account is highlighted by clicking on it once (left most red highlighted item).
Note that the Connection shows a specific dialup connection it will attempt to use.

Click on the Properties button.

Click on the Connection tab at the top of this window.
